Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti has confirmed the receipt of a significant loan disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2025 to 2026 academic session. The funding aims to support students by covering tuition and statutory charges, allowing them to continue their education without financial disruption.

The university received a total of ₦309,315,625.00 through the NELFUND scheme. The funds will support 1,093 students enrolled at the institution.

The disbursement was confirmed on 9 February 2026 and forms part of the federal government’s broader effort to expand access to higher education by easing financial barriers for students across Nigeria.
