Two organisations with a shared belief in the power of homegrown expertise have joined forces — and the result could change how Africa’s education story gets told.
In Johannesburg, South Africa, a new partnership has been announced between Africa.com and The Education Collaborative, marking a significant step towards strengthening education leadership and transformation across the African continent.
The collaboration focuses on amplifying practitioner voices, locally grounded research, and regional perspectives, ensuring education reform discussions reflect lived experiences and practical expertise from across Africa.
Advancing Collaboration Through Research and Shared Expertise
Founded and convened at Ashesi University, The Education Collaborative is a pan-African network that brings together educators, policymakers, researchers and practitioners. The organisation is dedicated to strengthening education systems through evidence-based research, collaboration and leadership development.
Through the new partnership, Africa.com will publish selected analysis, essays, interviews and insights from The Education Collaborative network. The initiative is designed to expand access to experience-driven perspectives on education reform, systems leadership and improved learning outcomes across the continent.
Strengthening Access to Education
The partnership aligns with Africa.com’s commitment to amplifying credible and context-rich expertise through its expanding Knowledge Partner Network. By integrating The Education Collaborative’s work across editorial platforms, newsletters and digital events, the collaboration aims to connect education leaders and decision-makers with informed viewpoints shaping the future of learning in Africa.
“This partnership underscores our commitment to sharing thoughtful, experience-driven insight from across Africa. The Education Collaborative’s work captures what’s actually happening inside education systems, and we’re pleased to help bring those perspectives to a broader audience.”
